The
New Car Shop was founded in the mid 1990's and formalised
into a UK registered company in 2001. With 50 years of collective
interest in cars there are 2 directors who oversee all activity.
1) Jonathan Quin: "With a
particular interest in Jaguar, Porsche and Lamborghini, I have
been obsessed by cars for as long as I can remember. My passion
for classic cars started when my father bought an e-type in
Scotland in the 1970's and has grown from there. Many hundreds
of car shows and garages later I am lucky to work with my hobby.
A recent pilgrimage to Maranello raised my interest in 1960/70
Ferraris and leaves me now hunting for a good 250 GTO replica!"
His own stable currently includes a Porsche 996 Cabriolet and
a replica Porsche RSK 718
2)
Patrick Carney: "I have had a love of cars and motorsport
ever since my father took me to the London Motorshow and British
Grand Prix aged nine. After many shows and motor races, I
continue to have a passion for classic and racing cars with
a particular interest in Italian machinery, especially Alfa
Romeo of which I presently own two. "
Pat is also an enthusiast of British sports car manufacturers
Lotus, TVR and Morgan, the latter in which he plans to try
his hand at classic rallying in the near future.
